The ship works in One Path. It's not a love triangle and it's not taking the characters and making them into something retarded or out of character to get what we want. I didn't ship Obidala before at all and I don't read those kind of absurd fic. This relationship is not...ick. They begin as friends and that friendship is the core of the fic, even after a romance develops.
