Ramble away. Anyway, Obi's not a love triangle person. Anakin was his best friend. He wouldn't have done it. Neither would Padme. Both of them are simply too loyal and Obi is too honest to have ever done anything in secret. That was the point of One Path, really.
I know I'm the author and I am rather attached to the fic since I've put so much effort into creating it, but, seriously I love these characters as they are in canon and I wasn't going to destroy them to get them together. Obi-Wan just wouldn't have DONE what Anakin did...and he wouldn't have stolen his best friend's wife. I hate those fics, I really do. This is something else.
BTW, my SG-1 muse seems to be gone again, so sorry about the delay on the Cam/Carolyn end of things in Games.
