Well like you said, it might be an AU. :P And like I said, they might have some sort of enhanced radios. After all, they've been experimenting with combining Earth technology with alien technology for ten and a half years, so I wouldn't be surprised if they have all sorts of nifty every-day gadgets that got an upgrade. < /excuse>
