I just emailed my grandpa tonight and told him I'd be doing NaNoWrimo, so if I don't, my brain will probably kill me.
Um... well, my friend the prof was confused by the # of chars in the fic I just finished that Sarah's beta-ing. He says that he wasn't sure what the "main" conflict was, and that I need to make Darius be around more before the end because I spend too much time on Gurad's inner conflict and not enough on the external conflict with Darius. I thought the Darius conflict was less important than Gurad's inner struggle, but according to my friend, developing that more will make the number of characters seem less confusing. I dunno about that, but oh well, I'll try it.
I think in the next fic (the NaNoWrimo one) I also have to do a scene where Steve lets Gurad drink from his wrist after Gurad was injured. Brain's got the whole scene planned, it just didn't end up fitting in the first fic.
And...Brain insists that Nilla and Steve should be fluffy... *headdesk*
