I was tempted by Katherine too. I really have always loved her, but I tied some stuff into Rediscovered Hearts about Nick (Ballard) and Daniel's grandmother, so their daughter was named after her. It was Vala's idea, actually. Sam and Jack ended up with a boy, so I avoided the Grace thing altogether. I've got 3 long AU fics now, though, so in one of them they'll end up with a daughter. My friend requested she be named Danielle, so I planned to go with that.
