Geez. First icon post since One Path started. I didn't even realize how long it had been. Heh. Check out the predominant subject. Is anyone surprised? I'm too lazy to make a batch of icons for the four random ones at the end, so I'm posting over here. Next time I do One Path icons, it will be on shipper_asylum.

Way before One Path even started, my friend Jo falling_more and I used to have a running joke about Yoda needing to smack Anakin with a frying pan.

She made this:

One Path itself is a total accident. I made these:



Back about a month ago, part of a set of RotS icons, and they were the genesis of the fic. There's also a whole ton of Anakin/Padme icons in the batch, because before the story started, both Aruna and I shipped Anakin/Padme and thought Obidala was like...ew. (Yeah. Really.)

So, then we were joking around about how it was like impossible to even look at the Anakin/Padme icons anymore without thinking, "What she kissing him for???????" And I said something about chasing him away with a frying pan, and she got a mental image of these two crazy shippers chasing Darth Vader around smacking him with frying pans.

We usually discuss the story and vid ideas over IM, and when I get stuck writing I'll IM her with sections of the story. Any time anything happened with Anakin, we'd start smacking him with frying pans, and eventually he sort of became Frying Pan Boy (or FPB) instead of Anakin. I have to be careful I don't type FPB in the fic now. And so...the icons.
