Okay, I finished TPM, the last installment of my Star Wars Prequel Trilogy icon set. Breaking it into five posts to make it vaguely dialup friendly. Yes, I suck. No, I didn't mean to do this many. If you still have me on your flist, you've probably realized this is the way my icon sprees tend to go by now. I will do the OT. I don't know when, though--probably when One Path gets that far and I need icons.

712 icons total, approx. 160 per posts, except one that's shorter. A few vague fic-related spoilers.

Qui-Gon/Shmi = LOVE! They're all great!

These are very nice, though I have an awful urge to tug on Qui-Gon's beard (and some of their expressions are just kind of funny, especially Padme when she's being the queen of unapproving scowls). I like how Qui-Gon and Anakin's eyes often seem the same blue as Padme's shirt. However, I can't help but think I know who Obi-Wan's talking to, on that commlink, and it isn't his Master!

I have this fascination with funny-face icons. I don't know why. And I think I made these icons around the time I had just written the early TPM chapters of One Path...so yeah. My only irritation is that I have no footage of Padme that could possibly be made to look like she was talking to him.

Maybe it's just because they're just so amusing. Plus, everybody's so darn solemn in those films most of the time that it's a nice change to see them making silly faces.

I always wonder just how big that darn ship was, for him and her to've avoided interacting pretty much at all on the trip. You'd think, from looking at it, that it wouldn't be that easy to avoid crossing paths with somebody. Hrumph. I wonder if there are any cut scenes or outtakes that might have footage that could be used for an icon where they look like they're talking . . .

If there are cut scenes, Aruna doesn't have them, and she's got just about everything, video wise that's been made available to the public

*Sigh* Well, that's a crying pity. You know, it always bothers me just a little bit to consider how much is recorded for a movie and how little of it ends up in the actual film. Especially for movies like this, it would be nice to be able to see some of the footage that isn't used, for one reason or another. I always wonder what happens to it all.
