Home earlier than I thought I would be. The bad news is that, as usual, everything that could go wrong went wrong. The good news is that, as usual, God handled the mess and everything worked out all right in the end. *grin* I love God.
Got the suitcase back a few hours ago, mostly intact, although I seem to be missing some pants and my favorite pjs. But, all things considered, that's not much of a problem. For the benefit of the squeamish, I won't discuss the black bugs I found on the floor in the hotel bathroom this morning...
When I got back, the contractors had left EVERYTHING that was in the bathroom in my kitchen, so I had to go find the landlord again and be like, "Um...?"
But, really in comparison to most of my "adventures" this one was no more than average. Ask me about the FL trip sometime.
Anyway, on to the IMPORTANT things. Heh. I watched one of my favorite movies last night. The Mask of Zorro with Antonio Banderas and Anthony Hopkins. I love Zorro. Not as much as I love Superman, but I used to watch the old bw Zorro and I think my very first attempt at fanfiction ever was from The New Adventures of Zorro that used to air on The Family Channel. It was a horrible fic. I was eleven. But hey, fandom love was part of my life even then. I don't know if I could actually pull off a credible Zorro fic, but I am feeling the need to do some Zorro art or something. So, that means I'll probably go on another superhero jag pretty soon.
Also saw some XF and Voyager, neither of which I've seen in like 2 years, so that was fun. I think David Duchovny is going to be the face of Matt Riley in Bloodkin now. Heh.
I managed to write about 1k words of One Path. Not as much as I'd hoped; it just seemed really hard to get into a groove in a strange place and without the accompaniment of the playlist.
Banging my head against a horrible wall of writer's block in regard to anything related to Stargate. I did try to work on Games and Beyond Breaking, but it's just not happening for some reason.
Okay, so that's about it for the moment. Off to write...something.

YAY! So glad you got your suitcase back! *glomps God!!!* And ew @ bugs. O.o
Oooooh, Zorro. I've always loved him, even if I've never seen any of the movies. *cough* That's like shipping ships from fandoms I don't watch, isn't it?
*shoots writer's block with cannon* I'm still stuck on WWD. After you left, I got like 500 words written, finished a scene, and then promptly got stuck again. *facepalm* On the bright side, brain's more than willing to write anything other than that. *eyeroll*
*disappears to go back to raking grass*
