One Path Updates
I apologize for the delay with this update. I know I promised to have it by Tuesday. Believe it or not, I had more trouble with the whole dialogue at the beginning of Nightfall than anything else. It just seemed like it wasn't working, no matter what I tried. The pillow scene was also problematic. I was actually planning to do it differently and go through all the awkward "Here, Padme...""...no, here..."o.o *glare*" stuff, but it didn't want to come out either. So then I got the other little bit of dialogue there and that seemed to work better, so I hope it works for you guys.
This is another of those where I had to split one chapter up into more. It was supposed to go from here through the actual revelation (AGAIN), but I was searching for something other than a bedtime talk to do with Obi and little Ani this time, because as cute as that was the first time, it felt repetitive. Then I remembered a scene like this one that actually happened to me (minus a lesson in the use of the Force, obviously) and once I started writing it, it just kept going. It was only supposed to include that little bit of discussion at the very end of the chapter, oddly enough. So, the long and short of it is, we have some nice fun to offset Anakin (the elder's) idiotic behavior in the second scene of Nightfall.
I also have about 300 words of a scene that was supposed to come AFTER this, which I had written before I got the idea for the bath. That will have be chapter 39 I guess, because it really doesn't fit with the title of Luminous Moments and I liked the title too much not to use. Anyway, enjoy.
