True. And to be fair, ST and SG both have the same kind of drawback as SW because it's always about exploring and the troubles that come with that and trying to find ways to communicate and bring people together. *Shrugs* Sometimes I wish someone would successfully combine the two aspects into one story, but somehow, in all the attempts I've seen, things always manage to end up sliding inexorably either towards war and protecting against the threat of war or towards exploration and the attempt to gain strength through allies gained thus. I've always found that rather odd. Really, the smartest thing would be to combine the two and use what one gains through exploring and setting up trade worlds and colonies between different species in order to stave off the possibility of war breaking out . . .
