Okay, I seem to be having a problem with not getting lj comment notification emails (No, they're not going to my junk mail folder...I checked.) Is it just me or is this happening to anyone else?

It seems to be happening to alot of people who use Hotmail. My one friend wasn't getting any comment notification till she switched her email to Gmail and had it forwarded to her hotmail account. Not sure if it works the same always or not, but I know thats what she did.

*sigh* Yeah, I just switched it to my yahoo mail account, which is still kind of a pain because I have to remember to CHECK my yahoo mail, whereas my MSN account is linked to messenger, which gives me email alerts. I don't have a gmail account, but I guess I could get one, cause I don't think yahoo mail has a forwarding option.

Well, I've never had any expirance with Yahoo Mail, so I can't say but most email programs do have the forwarding option. Do you use Webmail or do you use an actual program?

Ah, ok. I use a couple different emails and some work with Outlook (my email program) and some don't. Didn't know about Yahoo.

I had a myway account, and the LJ notificatios just stopped. I told LJ and myway, but nothing happened.

So I opened another account, at care2.com and I was receiving my notices reguarly when they stopped again, for about 2 months. Now (knock on wood), I'm receiving my notificatioins from LJ. However, I had emailed care2.com about the problem, and eventually it was fixed.

I know, senatorsfan_ink, stated that she was having a problem receiving notices about two weeks ago.

I hope you get it fixed. :)

Apparently certain email providers are randomly blocking LJ notifications, hence the difficulty. I just switched the notifications to another account.
