The typoteers are convinced we all have an Urgo. Latest case in point:

A few days ago, I posted the first icons for my claim at stargate_abcs. I did "Eternal" for letter E and "Fire" for letter F, as most of you will probably remember who read this journal anyway. So, later that night, Jess ( stargatefangurl ) James, ( rants_by_james ) are all on IM. Jess tells us that rather than bringing back her Stargate RPG, she's decided to create a new, fantasy-based RP board. It's not fandom based, closer to a freeform RP, so I, of course, ask about the premise, like it, and ultimately request a link. The name of the site?

Eternal Fire.

I am not kidding.

So, I'm reading through and I start remembering these old characters I had from a He-Man 2002 fanfic--OCs, obviously--who, with a little tweaking, really would fit on the site. Then, I go, "OOOooh, y'know what? I could use MS as the actor for Edmindos! Oooh, and CB for Lynae! I could use caps from like Avalon Pt 2 and Origin..." and Jess is like, "Last night I told Jason you'd want to use MS."

See? It's ridiculous. Then I'm like, "Hey, Jess, did you realize I'd just done "Eternal" and "Fire" as themes for my icon claim?" and she of course hadn't seen the icons yet and didn't know.

Well, long story short, this means I have yet another RP character with MS for a sig actor. I think Lynae is my first PC with Claudia Black, though. So, since I had to make RP sigs for the hot fantasy lover couple, and I've got that claim to work on I have D/V banners along with some wallpapers I was inspired to do, and the next batch of icons for my claim, which will probably double as RP avvies.

Well, the compound where SG-1 is being held has this security field. It's Sort of along the lines of Atlantis' shield, except it's...not...lol. *tries to think of how to explain* Ok, there is this large rectangular area of open land outside the compound. I'm talking like big enough that it might take a couple of days to explore the whole thing. That's where Teal'c, Sam, and Cameron are. Around the perimeter of the open area, there is this huge greenish energy field, but it's only on the ground. If you step on it, you get fried. There are four pole things, one on each corner of the rectangle, and Sam figures you need some kind of access code to shut them down. Except she doesn't realize that if you don't shut all four down at once, it sets off an alarm or something inside so the bad guy knows you're escaping. (I dunno if that works, now I'm thinking Sam would figure that out...) Jade knows, but she and Simone are afraid to blow their cover by helping SG-1. So they end up sneaking down to talk to Daniel in the prison cell thing and he convinces her to help the team. So, eventually I end up with Jade, Sam, Teal'c, and Cam each going to shut down one of the pole things, but then something goes wrong. Don't know what. That's when Vala, Jack, Marty and Dad show up. Vala has the four access codes because she has a secret she hasn't told anyone...as usual... so they get the poles shut down, but then somehow they have to get inside to get Daniel, whereupon Daniel is supposed to get hurt (don't know how) and Vala trades herself for him to get him back through the gate to a doctor and Daniel's mad at Jack because Jack let Vala do it. Then the next installment after that will be "rescue Vala". LOL!!!!!!!

OK that rocks!! it seems like its pretty much figured out, except for details.
Quick Jade question.... Jade's cover gets blown so she can help them, and does she get caught? Or does she get away? And does she and Marty already like each other or is that something that developes? I cant remember your original Jade plan! LOL!

Ok what goes wrong with the shutting off of the poles could be that one of the people doesnt get to it at the same time, some bad guy intercepts and there for the poles dont get shut off at once and the alarm sounds.

Daniel getting hurt...lets see here, the possiblities are endless...he could:
A) Get shot
B) There could be some kind of electric field around his "cell" or wherever he is at that he doesnt know about and gets shocked
C) He could trip and hit his head on a nearby rock
D) He could jump in front of some kind of weapon to keep someone else from getting it, like Vala.
E) He could just run into about 4 guard that kick the crap out of him LOL!

Thanks, I like the idea of Danny jumping in front of a weapon to protect his Vala...it's almost ridiculously fluffy, but...fluff is good. lol. Uh...Well, I know Jade ends up getting away with the rest of the team when they take Daniel back to the SGC. I keep debating whether she and Marty actually like each other already or not...if you've got a preference, I'll go with that.
