nerca_beyul and I both observed that these lyrics reminded us of Jack, so I had to make it. The song is Toby Keith's American Soldier, and YES, I know that Jack isn't a soldier, that's why the "I'm an American Soldier" line isn't there...

And this is related to an old RP and far future Rediscovered Hearts fic I'm apparently planning...
