yep...swore off graphic making for the month. LOL! Well, I hit 20 k and went braindead. So, I have wallpapers.

nerca_beyul and I both observed that these lyrics reminded us of Jack, so I had to make it. The song is Toby Keith's American Soldier, and YES, I know that Jack isn't a soldier, that's why the "I'm an American Soldier" line isn't there...

Okay. Now I am really--REALLY--Swearing off graphics until December. This is by request for

thalion_pip. My image program crashed before I'd saved it the first time, and I couldn't get it to look right with red coloring when I re-did it. I'll be happy to work on some red and blue stuff for you in December, but until then I hope this helps. ;-)

Ok...well, we knew it was coming. I made some walls for my desktop with the new DV promo shot and thought I'd share. I have an insane screen resolution, so most are huge, but I went back and did some 800x600 as well. I'm too lazy to do 1024x768 today; if anyone needs them that size, let me know.

Only...um...two say "Rediscovered Hearts"; the rest are just standard "Daniel and Vala," since I'm probably the only person who'd actually want a Rediscovered Hearts wallpaper.

I was going to work on my Atlantis icons and I got to thinking...I haven't done a Danny wall in quite a while. Also found a couple old ones I thought I should post. So, here are four Danny wallpapers in various sizes and a couple of icons. The first two walls are new, the others have been around a while.

Icons and bases I didn't get to post last night. Already iconning my way through Ep III, King Arthur and Waterworld...plus QotD, but that's only to do Lestat, so now my wonderful muses have decided that I MUST do cartoon icons as well. I do them occasionally, but I tend to have a tough time with them, so I don't know what the deal is with the sudden craze.

77 icons from the movie The Last Unicorn. I'm actually pleased enough with the way these came out that I'm toying with the possibility of a claim at

disney100. Disney movies I currently have caps of are Narnia--not doing that though. It's been done too recently and we've been flooded with Narnia icons, and I want a cartoon anyway. So that leaves Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Lion King, and The Sword in the Stone (Yes, LJ-Land, I am a King Arthur freak, thank you very much...). I'm sure I can find others with relative ease at

disneycaps or

cap_it, but I'd prefer to do something I've already got that's been sitting around waiting for me to get off my icon-crazy rear end and do something with it. Any opinions from my wonderful LJ friends on which movie it should be?

As an added bonus, you'll also find the bases under the cut because I know I had a hard time finding pics of this movie to begin with. Ended up eventually finding them on

cap_it if anyone wants full sized pics.

literarylitany One of these is going to be Lynae's adept on Eternal Fire...but the one I had chosen, coincidentally, appeared the next day in Sarah's sig...so, it's back to the drawing board. Also, I don't know who the original artists were on these, so if anyone does, PLEASE let me know so I can credit.

I think I'll be nice and upload the bases too, while I'm at it, since they were very pretty.

It's raining. In fact, it's been bloody raining all week. Tammy wanted me to go to the movies with her and "the boy" tonight, but I'm waiting on a call from Sarah. *Hopes* Meanwhile, I've been bored, and the boredom has, for once, led to productivity.

Boy, the variation monster has apparently taken over my brain.

I have some D/V icon variations by request

martyfan and

aruna7, some Ronon icons and their variations, and some Ronon wall variations because my variation monster seems to have also been bitten by a Runner bug.

I used the above textures for

aruna7's icons, too, even though I already posted a bunch of examples of this texture set using Sam/Jack. They just seemed to work. Still haven't quite managed purple, but I'm happier with them than the last ones. I made a more purplish one, but it looked like Danny had an allergic reaction to alien grapes or something.

The walls are 800x600. I almost never make that size, as I have a gargantuan monitor, but I'd noticed that it seems to be neglected, and I do know some people that actually have screens that small still. So... from me to you. Happy Unbirthday.
