Thanks. Icons are pretty much what I do when I can't write...except that for the past few weeks I have been unable to make them. This set was my attempt to get back into the swing.

lol. Well, I use scripts (saved actions, if you're a PS user) and most often I make simple-looking hush icons. So, after I make one or two to get a coloring method I like, I record a script and PSP does most of the work in a mouse click. Then I just go back and tweak them, then maybe add textures or text if I feel like it. Mostly I like the clean look these days.

Well, I'm still learning so I'm basically only good at cropping right now. And I know how to correct pictures and add effects but I haven't tried it on icons yet since my PS isn't on my computer yet (My DVD/CD drive isn't reading any discs).

Weird about your drive. For icons I tend to use color balance and color fill layers set on different modes.
