Wow, busy day. I finished the rough drafts of The Redemption of Gurad Fayne chapters 1-3. The flashbacks still need to be lengthened, but even if I didn't, I think they make SENSE now. I basically ripped everything back apart and put Nilla's stories in a separate location, turning the focus of the plot back to Gurad--where it was supposed to be in the first place. *facepalm* And I finally think I'm getting a handle on Ben's character, although he CONTINUES to look like Fox Mulder in my head, despite the fact that he is SUPPOSED to be blond and younger than Mulder.

Also have finally gotten Aruna's headers to start looking more like the other batch, and I Think I finished part one of a fic I have been working on for like 2 years. Much thanks to my friend, Prof Silverback, who sent me back a draft after my computer died.

So, anyway, this has got to be the most random icon post ever. I hopped through my files and just started grabbing things with different color values, experimented on them with the same prep to see what I'd get. Oh, and a few misc. text icons, including Larry Day.

One of the few really nice things I remember my stepfather doing for me was going out of his way to tape this for me as a kid because I loved it so much. I was such a weird kid, honestly. I would rather watch The Ten Commandments and stuff like this than anything that kids my age were watching.

I love that movie too. It's an awesome movie -- but Yul Brynner rocks in general! I remember watching Forbidden Planet and being astounded that it *didn't* win the Emmy for Special Effects until I saw The Ten Commandments.

Moses on Sinai is almost as awesome as the Pieta in Jesus of Nazareth.
