Whee! Anyone rememeber doing this with crayons when you were a kid?

Take a bunch of crayons. Make blocks or stripes of various sizes and colors until you fill the page. Take a black crayon. (Preferably the big fat baby sized ones, because it's easier) Cover the whole page. Then take a pair of safety scissors and scrape off bits of the black coating to make a picture.

Well, I recommend doing it in your image program. Takes far less effort and makes no mess to clean up after. Take this texture (by me) or any one you want.

Add a new layer and fill black.

Now take your eraser and whatever brush tips you feel like using and go to town.

Here's mine!

Feel free to snag as a wallpaper or texture or whatever you want. It's neat if you set it to screen and erase the bits you don't want.
