(no subject)

Another huge post, this time with various icons I've made over the last few weeks and just either haven't had the time or motivation to post. Definately not a dialup friendly post here, folks. Sorry...


First, 125 from the movie "The Passion of the Christ". These were among the hardest icons I've ever done, not so much in terms of the tecniques I used, but more just trying to find lighting and coloring that didn't overpower the images or take something away from them. I'm actually quite happy with how they turned out....surprising in itself given that I am ALWAYS hypercritical of my own work. Credit for the majority of the caps used goes to stargatefangurl and to my grandpa, who had sent them to me in an email a long time ago. I just happened to find them in an email old folder, which is what inspired me to do these in the first place. The rest were picked up from various websites I came across, and I apologize for not being sure exactly where. I'd been hoping to have them up for Easter, but between internet issues and PB issues, it just didn't happen.

Warning: Some of these images are rather graphic. Dedicated to my grandparents, who taught me the love of Jesus by example.

Next we have Narnia icons, none of which I'm really overly thrilled with.... *sighs at self* Well, I was trying something different with these, trying to get a sort of "glowy" effect, and some of them are just *too* shiny, I think. I've re-edited most of them, played with the curves and the brightness/contrast settings, but I dunno. I'm not that great with curves anyway. Let me know what you guys think. 57 in total.

Had to re-cap Ep III a few weeks ago and these are the first crop of icons from it. Well, second crop if you count the RP avatars I posted already. A lot of these are variations, but I couldn't make up my mind whether I wanted text or not, or which textures, or how bright. But I really like most of them. So here we are. Lot of Obi-Wan, some Mace Windu--*hugs Mace*-- and Yoda. I think three or four Anakin. I'll have to do some shippy Anakin/Padme ones next time I do SW. And if I could find some decent Han/Leia pics that would be a fantastic addition. *Hopes* Anyway, 49 in all here.

Eh. I thought these were really neat when I did them, now I'm not so sure. But they remind me of an old fic series I did entitled "Defenders of Grayskull". So here we are. He-Man/She-Ra icons for your viewing pleasure. Sadly, I'm running out of pics to use or there would be more. As it is, there are a total of 9.

Then I wouldn't have five million icons per post. Again, not very dialup friendly here. But we have some MS icons from Andromeda to begin this time.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *hops and hops and hops* *cries* *hugs Gabriel* *cries more* Poor Rommie!!!! *smacks Balance of Judgement* Ok...composing myself now. Not really a major fan of Roddenberry's Andromeda. I know, that must be sacrilige for an avowed Trekkie, right? But, I always liked Rommie --and Doyle, but that's another subject-- so Rommie centered eps have my vote to start with. Throw MS into the mix, and...well... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...He really is great at being insane...and romantic...something which Daniel doesn't get to be often enough in my opinion. And, he and Lexa really do have some great *snicker* onscreen *snicker* chemistry. No. Really, they do. Like, that whole, "Then don't talk..." scene, I practically fell on the floor and turned to a giant puddle of *squeeeeeee* It's just that, I have this image in my head of him being like, "Y'know, I'm not really comfortable with how that scene went...you think maybe we could practice?"

Ok, shutting up now. Here are 135 icons from Star Crossed that I made last Thursday while watching Day of Judgement/Day of Wrath. They're not as clear as I would have liked, as the caps were kinda crappy to start with, but I'm happy with them. Mostly. The vast majority feature Gabriel/Rommie. I think there's like, one Harper. Don't even ask how that got into the batch, because I don't know. I don't even really like Harper. Possible spoiler warnings if you haven't seen the ep.
