One Path Update
Apr. 7th, 2007 04:15 pmOkay. SO totally sorry about the length on this one. There just wasn't anywhere to break it up. It was actually supposed to go from Palpy's kidnapping all the way through to the rescue, but...heh. There was no way I'd make you guys read a chapter that long. I didn't realize how long it was going to be at all. Also apologize for the delay in getting it done. I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to get back into 'Gate fandom, as well as occassionally doing those annoying real life things I can't avoid.
The chapter is based on events in James Lucerno's Labyrinth of Evil, and I just didn't want to have to get into Obi and FPB's stuff in the book since it has no real bearing on One Path, so you get more of little Ani's POV instead of Obi's. I plan on getting back to the usual Obi/Padme POV pattern in the next chapter...maybe a bit of Palpy if I can stomach it.
If anyone hasn't seen the One Path trailer yet, watch it. I'm telling you. I wrote this story. It's alive. Watch it.
