So. I just realized that I have a huge plot hole in my novel. Largely because I hadn't quite figured out how something called bloodbonds work when I started it. I think that my brain has managed to come up with a solution, but it is NOT the quick fix I was hoping for. It's going to entail a huge amount of re-writing and painful consequences to my beloved Faynes. I just don't have any other way of doing it without like entirely changing the beginning. *Headdesk*
Note to self--figure out the natural laws of the universe before writing.
__EDIT___
Upon further consideration, the new plan has been deemed unnacceptable due to the nature of the damage to the relationship between Nilla and Gurad. She already has huge issues around the death of her mother. I can't make her father a permanent and unavoidable source of major, life changing trauma. I am apparently going to have to re-write the entire novel. *bangs head*
