Weirdest. dream. ever.

So, the dream I had was about this SG-1 fanfiction I wrote once where Daniel had gone to a boarding school and met these kids who were mutants. One of the kids' grandfather ran the school and was hiding them from the government to protect them. The main mutant girl, Pippa, could read minds but only see the secrets that a person was trying to hide. So, in the dream I either WAS her or had her powers.

I was in some bar that I think was from the show Highlander and on the news they said that Saddam Hussein was still alive and had sent a satellite into space with the ability to pinpoint a target and kill somebody. We thought it was going to be President Bush but I had a vision thing and I realized that it was this little girl who was apparently Saddam's granddaughter. (Whose name, incidentally was Yelena, which comes from Maria V. Snyder's Study Series--amazing novels, btw.) He wanted to kill her because her mother had apparently married some Chinese guy who was also a Christian. So, I go running out of the bar and jump in my car, where I manage to drive to Iraq so I can find the kid.

I find the little girl and her mother but the mother is killed so I grab the little girl and run. We end up in a car chase with Saddam Hussein behind us waving a gun out the window and he shoots my tire. So, we crash the car but we get out unharmed and go running into some huge hotel with men chasing us up and down the stairs for a while before we make it back to the lobby where I beg the lady at the desk to call the police but she doesn't believe me. And then I see Leia. Yes, Princess Leia. So I go running up to her like "Leia, Leia, help!"

So, she doesn't know Saddam has a granddaughter so she doesn't want to believe me either, and me and the kid are like *headdesk* because she has to go look it up on the internet at the reception desk before agreeing to shoot the guys that are coming toward the lobby from the hall.

So, I'm like "Hurry it up, will ya Princess? We ain't got all day here!... *pause* Sorry. I write fanfiction. Must have had a Han moment." Then just as the guys are pouring into the lobby with guns drawn, Leia jumps up witih a blaster and shoots them all. We go running out the door and end up on the Death Star looking for Han and Luke, but apparently Han and Luke are disguised as Storm Troopers, so we keep finding them and running away. Then I woke up.


So...now we have incontrovertable proof of just how far from sane I really am. *wanders off to lock self in padded room*
