Okay, I realize this post will do no good, but I'm in venting mood, so I'm going to post it anyway and make myself feel better. "You" is not being used to address individuals, so nobody start assuming I'm talking to them. I'm talking to LJ-land in general. Anybody who doesn't like what I have to say can go read someone else's epics or find another icon maker who will do entire seasons of shows and let people use the stuff as bases.
The lack of commentary lately in relation to bandwith usage/hits on fic pages is really annoying. If you have time to click the link, read, wait for pics to load, and save the stuff to your hard drive you, have time to post a simple thank you. I work my butt off to post these graphics (and my fanfiction is often, quite frankly, NOT fun to write, especially One Path). I'd make the stuff anyway, and yes nobody forces me to post them, however the common courtesy of a thank you or "I liked this part" goes a long way toward making me feel inclined to spend my free time posting umpteen episodes worth of icons or multiple chapters of fanfiction. You like it when people thank you for YOUR efforts, don't you?
