Summary : The loss of Princess Adora, Adam's search for her and the eventual reunion with her family evoke strong emotions for the Sorceress, who still wishes that she could be closer to Teela, the daughter she has watched Man-At-Arms raise to become Captain of the Royal Guard. She's troubled by nightmares and feelings of guilt, but she knows that Adam, Teela, and Adora all have special destinies to fulfill. When the Great Rebellion is threatened by Hordak, she sends He-Man, along with Teela, Man-At-Arms, and Orko, to aid She-Ra. But in He-Man's absence, Skeletor attacks the Royal Palace and captures King Randor and Queen Marlena. Will the twins and their friends arrive in time to save Eternia?
Notes : Technically, I have to classify this as an AU vid. The storyline was never played out in the series, but I've always kind of felt like Adora's loss would really affect the Sorceress more than we ever got to see in She-Ra. I'm just too busy to write about it, so I guess my subconscious produced the vid instead. The title is inspired by the opening sequence from the first three She-Ra episodes, where She-Ra is called "The Champion of Light", but my belief is that there never was ONE champion or hero in either of these series. What I loved about them was the way that it always came down to everyone working together to keep Skeletor and Hordak from succeeding.
