Okay, just letting people know, I'm having problems replying to comments and getting my flist page to load. There seems to be something wrong with LJ and/or my net. So, I'm reading my email notices but I can't check my flist or reply to comments. (I'm only able to post in Semagic and I feel like I'm on a desert island sending messages via ham radio to the rest of the world.) *headdesk*

Now it seems like stuff will load after an interminably long wait. Does anybody know what is up lately? I know I've been gone a while, but I don't remember LJ being this glitchy/slow. Is something going on or is this the "new normal" around here?
I have been considering getting a dreamwidth account for the crossposting/mass security change features, since I recently discovered that LJ-sec doesn't work on my new computer, and if I do, I may let my paid account here lapse. It's annoying to think I'm PAYING for a blog that won't load when I want it to.
*grumbles*
Anyway, I have company this weekend, but I hope to start getting some SW fic posted on Sunday evening.
